안녕하세요! 저는 미국 캘리포니아에서 디저트 관련 일을 하고 있는 Anne Yoo 입니다. 미국에 오기 전 저는 케이크와는 전혀 상관이 없는 한국전력공사에서 일을 했어요. 계산과 서류정리 또 회의등의 일이 전부였죠.
미국에 와서 취미로 하게 된 베이킹이 지금은 저의 전부가 되어버렸어요.
현재 저는 테크기업의 이벤트 디저트와 케이크를 만드는 팀에서 일하고 있고, 이곳에 업로드되는 예쁜 수제 케이크들은 제가 주말에만 만들고 있어요.

Hi there! I’m so happy you’re here. My name is Anne Yoo, and I’m a cake designer who believes in the magic of small, sweet moments.
I didn’t start out in buttercream and piping bags.
In Korea, I used to work at Korea Electric Power Corporation—a world of paper works and calculation, not whisks.
Now, I spend my days crafting cakes that are soft in texture, pastel in color, and always made with heart.
Sometimes, writing feels more natural than speaking, especially when it comes to expressing what’s on my mind.
That’s actually one of the reasons I started this blog: to keep track of my cake journey, yes—but also to put into words the thoughts I often can't say out loud (at least not fluently!).
If my cakes bring you even a sprinkle of joy—or a tiny smile—then that’s a win in my book.
Truth be told, my English isn’t perfect—I'm still learning, and some days it feels like frosting is easier than talking.
I may not be able to dive into deep conversations or chatter away in English (yet!), but here—through writing—I can share my heart, my stories, and maybe a few cake-related confessions too.
My love for cakes speaks a universal language. So I roll up my sleeves, face the flour-dusted challenges, and keep learning… one swirl at a time.
