Pisa & Pompeii – The Tilted and the Timeless

 A Leaning Tower & A Buried City: My Accidental History Lesson Postcard Moments and Volcanic Echoes 1. Pisa 🏰 The Tower may lean, but it holds strong—unlike my posture after walking all day. Yes, I did the obligatory hand pose (actually… three versions). Also yes—it’s smaller than you think!But oh, it really does lean.No camera tricks needed. “If this tower can survive all this leaning,maybe I can survive a little Monday fatigue.” κΈ°μšΈμ–΄μ§„ 건 λ‚˜μ˜ μžμ„ΈμΌ 뿐… 탑은 μ—¬μ „νžˆ μœ„ν’λ‹Ήλ‹Ήν–ˆμ–΄μš”. ν•΄κ°€ μ¨μ¨ν•œ μ˜€ν›„, μ†μœΌλ‘œ 탑을 λ°›μΉ˜λŠ” 사진 ν•œ μž₯ μ•ˆ μ°κ³ λŠ” λͺ» λ°°κΈ°μ£ . ν•˜μ§€λ§Œ κ·Έ κΈ°μšΈκΈ°λ§ŒνΌμ€ μ§„μ§œ μ‹€κ°λ‚©λ‹ˆλ‹€!   “세상에… μ €λ ‡κ²Œ κΈ°μšΈμ–΄μ‘ŒλŠ”λ° 아직 μ•ˆ λ¬΄λ„ˆμ§€λ‹€λ‹ˆ.  λ‚˜λ„ λ¬΄λ„ˆμ§€μ§€ μ•Šκ³  κ·Έλ ‡κ²Œ μ‚΄κ³  μ‹Άλ‹€.”  \220. 2. 2. 2. 2. Pompeii πŸŒ‹ This ancient city sleeps in ashes, but it whispers stories. I walked cobblestone paths where Romans walked, saw homes, bathhouses, bakeries, even brothels (!), and felt the eerie stillness of a city frozen in time. The frescoes on the walls—bright and intricate—felt alive ...

Rainbow Birthday Cake Idea - Celebrate in color! Birthday cake that brings Joy

Rainbow Macaron Cream Cake  Before you slice this cake, please take a moment to acknowledge the brave little macarons on top. One Day, One Peak: Meeting the Matterhorn

Travel Switzerland   Zermatt – The Red Train of Dreams Kicking off our alpine adventure on the iconic red train to Zermatt. Who knew anticipation had a color—and it’s definitely Swiss red.   Lunch Like a Local Straight off the train, straight into flavor. Traditional Swiss sausage and golden potatoes 'Rosti'   —comfort food with a mountain view. Window Drama – Unexpected Rescue Peaceful snowy peaks, then suddenly—a rescue helicopter. Alpine drama meets breathtaking views. Shot through a train window, but felt like a movie. Face to Face with the Matterhorn There she is—majestic, moody, and totally worth the wait. The Matterhorn finally peeked through the clouds like a celebrity at a curtain call.

A Quiet Moment at the Duomo

Travel Italy_Duomo    The plaza was full — umbrellas clustered, footsteps echoed across wet stone. In front of the Duomo, even the crowd seemed to pause. The rain turned Milan’s Duomo into something straight out of a dramatic black-and-white movie. I was busy craning my neck, counting marble carvings like they were ancient gossip. With the drizzle tapping my umbrella like it had something urgent to say, I totally forgot to take more pictures. Honestly, it’s one of those places where your camera takes a back seat—because your neck and your brain are too busy going, “Wait… how did they even carve that?! I stood there longer than I planned, watching the rain trace soft lines down marble walls. Tomorrow, I’ll be crossing into Switzerland — but today, Milan gave me something still and unforgettable.
